John Frusciante ‘s Life’s A Bath (Music/Video Cover)
Once again, I decided to cover an early John Frusciante track. This time it’s “Life’s A Bath”, a song from his second solo album, ‘Smile From The Streets You Hold’ released in 1997. I made a personal rendition of it as you will hear, by including a reversed lead guitar in the intro and by adding drums & a bass guitar at the very end of the song. I also recorded a little video, wich is based around addiction and depression, a state John knew too well at the time. I hope you like it, don’t forget to comment & to rate. I just have to go on and say that this is so great. You really have the talent! And I’m painfully critical of things. You are so good and you have the feeling projected into the guitar which is so very very very rare. Keep on practising and you’ll reach the divine level of other great musicians.

your guitar playing is so Frusciante and the reverse lead really captures what his sound and style was like back then. (sorry, i’m a guitarist too; what guitar (ie type of strat) are you using? a ’62 vintage?)
the video is also great, black and white, like his. and it shocks aswell which is perfect for the song.

I good cover but still, you shouldn’t try to imitate his voice. It’s your cover; makeit yours. And it’s also a little insensitive considering his condition at the time.
