  8. yep he did solo for a while when the band was on hiatus…in 2001 and in 09 and some other years too…his albums are freakin intense check em out…my fav song is Going inside!

    just tried it
    you can play utb in C very well too
    just use all chords from the E string up
    much easier to play and sing lol

    the end chords are
    rip off: C maj7
    utb: E maj7
    (in the fahion you play the simple Cmaj7 with barret on the 4th fret)

  15. Man, this guy is so sweet! He is such an amazing musician… I love Steve Vai, and others like him, but I also love people like John here. John is the simple side of the spectrum of ultimate musical expression, and I kinda think that side has so much more appeal…
